Caroline DiCarlo, DVM

Dr. Caroline DiCarlo General practitioner Dr. Caroline DiCarlo has cared for pets at Canandaigua Veterinary Hospital since 2008.

Dr. DiCarlo is originally from Ohio. She attended Cornell University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 1999. She pursued her veterinary education at the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Dr. DiCarlo graduated magna cum laude from the Ohio State University and was the recipient of the Preventive Medicine Award and the Marysville Ambulatory Award. She completed an internship in Food Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Ohio State University Teaching Hospital. She counts general medicine and surgery among her many professional interests.

At home, Dr. Dicarlo and her husband (who were married in August 2009) enjoy the companionship of three cats, Francis, Lola and Simon, and a toy poodle named Captain who they rescued. In her spare time, Dr. DiCarlo's hobbies include camping, sporting days, cooking and watching Ohio State football. She also has a particular interest in dairy production medicine because her husband manages a dairy farm.
